Name: NcFTP - Internet file transfer program

Version: 2.4.2

Author(s): Mike Gleason <mgleason@cse.unl.edu>

Ftp source: ftp.probe.net:/pub/ncftp/

Description:

NcFTP is a user interface to the Internet standard File Transfer Proto-
col. This program allows a user to transfer files to and from a remote
network site, and offers additional features that are not found in the
   standard interface, ftp.

Advertised architectures:

The program compiles "out of the box" on many systems thanks to the
configure script; the README file contains installation notes for
   several problem architectures:
        Linux
        SunOS 4.1.3
        HP/UX
        FreeBSD
        BSDI
        NeXT
        MIPS RC6280 running RISCos 2.1.1AC

Most compilation problems seem to lie with the curses library on
the various systems. The author suggests getting the ncurses library
   by zmbenhal@netcom.com at ftp://ftp.netcom.com/pub/zm/zmbenhal/ncurses/.
